These are great photos and accounts of all the things you are seeing! It sounds like a great trip, and we're excited to hear how the next leg goes. You certainly are visiting some beautiful places! I laughed when I saw the photo of all the carpets--it took me back to the first time I visited Istanbul by myself as a 25-year-old. I sat in one of those places, drinking the apple tea and watching those guys roll out carpet after carpet, all the while giving their whole spiel. I was the only person in there, and wanted to ask them, "I'm a 25-year-old traveling alone. Do I really look like someone who is about to drop several thousand dollars on a Persian rug?!" Haha--I just drank my tea and politely said "no thanks" before moving on!
It's especially fun to see photos of you all and to hear fun anecdotes and interesting stories, so keep them coming!
